Yield Costing (made simple)            

An app to measure the impact wastage and cooking has on food cost, leading to finding out the true cost of prepared and cooked items. This can be useful to help calculate accurate ingredient and recipe prices. It is multi-functional, featuring US, UK and Metric weights & measures. These are divided into Mass & Weight; Liquid Volume; and Dry Volume. The user can convert between weights and measures within each category. 

How to use
This app allows a user to either: Calculate the RAW WASTAGE cost associated with the preparation of raw food items or calculate the COOKING LOSS cost associated with food or beverage items.

The user inputs:
1.  A currency (i.e. GBP)
2.  RAW WASTAGE or COOKING LOSS
3.  Ingredient or product name
4.  Supplier purchase (cost) price of ingredient
5.  Gross weight/measure of raw item before preparation or cooking
6.  Wastage weight/measure of raw item after preparation or cooking
7.  Amount of raw or cooked ingredient used in a recipe
