Mrs Avis Crocombe's Cookery Book with English Heritage
Miranda & I worked & tested our way through 100 or so recipes selected by Dr Annie Gray (British Food Historian) from Mrs. Avis Crocombe's original 1881 cookery manuscript to produce a cookbook on behalf of English Heritage. Once again we joined a very talented team that also included Sophie Wright as food stylist and Abi Bansal as principal photographer. Mrs Avis Crocombe was the cook at Audley End House in 1881 and these recipes directly link to the very successful “Victorian Way”videos.
